We pulled a guy that happened to off of Isla Del Coco. Spent 8 hours running at flank speed to get there, launch helo to pick him up, get him aboard, and then another 10 hours the opposite direction until we were close enough to Costa Rica to launch the helo again and get him to better medical care. Dude was split basically from the calf to the crotch. Absolute miracle it didn't get an artery.
