Easy in the sense that any idiot can field a direct ground ball and lob to first... After that its not easy at all. Range combined with soft hands is not a common trait, even at the college level. Most college teams choose offense or defense, and at the position most go for defense. That should tell you how "easy" the position is.

Well you can make any position sound hard if you want. 2B, compared to most positions, is not hard. Let someone else have a chance
