I was amazed at how calm he was

About 7 years ago, I snapped my tibia and fibula right above the ankle in a church league basketball game. It was a layup...first FG attempt of the year

When it happened immediately I thought I tore something. I heard the pop and felt some pain but it just wasn't as excruciating as you would think. Then when I saw my foot facing the opposite direction it got real.

As I waited for the ambulance, I joked...first I asked if I made the shot, then when asked if I needed anything I said "milk". I had everyone laughing. It wasn't until after the surgery that I wanted to die...so painful and I was on button morphine which made me have vivid dreams and I would flinch in my sleep and wake up to the most serious pain I've ever felt.

To this day I have a rod and 2 pins in there and I'd be lying if I said it didn't give me trouble on the court.

Have they released the x-rays post surgery? Am interested to see the work by the docs.
