you could have pointed out that since you're tankless you need to push hard and win fast or it's almost a guaranteed loss.
Well, the problem was we didn't quite have enough pressure mid to push that lane. Our Fizz was having trouble against their Brand, so all of the pressure we were putting on was in top and bot lanes. Obviously when you break down a game you notice moves you should have made differently, but at the time we were so far ahead it looked like we were just going to steamroll. To a point, we did. We ended up taking every lane down to inhibs, but they they turtled up and we couldn't win team fights for the lack of a tank. That's when they started pulling even and eventually dragged the game out long enough to win. It just took us too long to get the pressure all the way inside of their base. Once we got there, we couldn't win the 5v5's. I'm not sure we would have ever been able to win a 5v5. We were in our element in laning phase when we could pick people off in small duos. Once the teams were together, we just didn't have to sustainability to win the fights.

But I like breaking down games win or lose. Games like these especially intrigue me. This one was fairly obviously chalked up to team comps, but I always try to study the turn of a game when one team is massively up and ends up losing. Can't get better if you don't know how the game operates in certain situations. I'm just a nerd like that I guess. I like to break the game down.

I knew we needed a tank, that's why I chose hecarim first. But we also had a soraka leblanc bot lane and a mid lane that has never heard of last hitting. It wasn't ranked so I played a champion I felt like playing. Though doubtless we would have been better off with hecarim.
