Going to my first professional soccer match tomorrow

Houston Dynamo and San Jose Earthquakes. Trying to convert dad and my brother to the sport, so I'm hoping for a 4-3 Dynamo victory with a Will Bruin hat trick...a guy can dream.
Any pregame suggestions? What to expect? Any other soccer board poster gonna be there? Will the imminent Mexicans filling BBVA be offended and throw beer at me if I strut in wearing my four day old USA jersey?

BBVA Compass is a beautiful stadium. I've been once but I definitely want to try to make it back.
