Trying to clean up my parents place. My dad has lumber piled up and a shed that he built years ago. Would be willing to give the lumber and tin away in exchange for it being torn down and hauled off. They live in the Sunset La area. Anyone know someone in the Acadiana area who may be interested in looking at the materials and see if it would be a good deal for them??

Try Andre Monceret of Monceret's fine wood working. You can find him on FB.

You got any pics of the lumber/shed? Would give a better idea of what we're looking at.

Agree B and B. But I live in N La and only brother works safety mgmt for oil company and travels. Was built years ago when we had horses and show cattle as kids. Just sitting there now and mom cannot upkeep around it any longer. The time has come to let someone else get use out of it while still in good shape.

I would be glad to come take a look at what you have. I might be able use the lumber and tin. I live on 182 just north of sunset.

Good luck with finding someone. We take these down all the time for $3 a square foot and can't beg people to take the wood even after we took it down.
