Aren't most mods quite poor in terms of optimization and that's what really pushes the limits of current 12GB cards? I know some of those Skyrim mods go pretty far and are quite hogs.


Overall though, it's just about having a 32GB HBM2 card. Want. Or even 16GB.

I'll just sit in the waiting lounge however long at this point I think.

Yeah but it's more about optimization in terms that I've just stated. They through everything on the VRAM to be cached because of limited access to the game engine. So to my understanding, once the game loads it's hard to constantly access data without breaking the game. So they have it all cached during the load.
