Probably not that much really, but I've also heard there are games now with mods that can push 12GB, so HBM2 being 16GB and up to 32GB....that's what I want.

but usually you don't need high bandwidth for games with mods, it is more about capacity. Like Skyrim and other open world game mods. This is usually works better just cached. When you load the map/world the data will be cached and stay there and not need to be cycled through.
Games like Rise of the Tomb Raider which need the bandwidth would probably benefit more from HBM. I would think.
Edt: I really want HBM on fckking something. So disappointed the new Small Titan doesn't have HBM2
