because its a pain in the arse. some idiot bought a $400 gateway from walmart, gets home, decides he hates windows 8
then went and bought a copy of windows 7 for $130 at frys or some damn where and tries to install it himself.
now he has a $530 paperweight with a formatted hard drive because W7 wont fricking install. it will get to the original W7 desktop ONCE, but after you reboot it will never get back. goes into boot loop and i feel like i have changed every possible bios setting and flashed the bios to the W7 version directly from the gateway website.
lets say i get this thing working - how much can i possibly charge him? not enough for all the effort, thats for sure. dude will be at least $600 into a A6 APU machine![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
