I think at the plate he's really scuffling. And then he misplaced that ball on sunday. as soon as he did that, then struck out on 3 pitches PM yanked him.

Project, i'm sure you do not remember, but during the start of the season your comments convinced me that speed was the essential element lacking last year that caused us to hit into so many double plays. I know how to quanitify speed on defense, but i didn't really think about the crucial role it plays in offense because it's not that easy to measure. I think it's made all the difference this year, and you are the poster who pointed that out to me, so thanks. I think speed is why Stevenson got the nod over CS (although CS is not slow; just not as fast).
