I aint gonna lie...I don't like his brother and my judgemental side wants me to think this stupid streak runs in the family BUT, I feel, just the way this report sounded, that RJ may have gotten screwed by some gung-ho cop.

The message by Ignignot sounds precisely like my thinking about this Rickey Jefferson matter.
I still hope to find out more specific details, if we'll ever know these details.
But Rickey needs to be careful & try his best to avoid getting into any situations that may even remotely have a chance to lead to similar problems in the future.

My feelings as well.
I don't even mind him getting in this fight. If the story is his buddy was minding his own business and some dude just starts beating on him without identifying himself prior as a cop, I'm glad RJ came to the aid of his friend.
