Randy Onwuasor

I think he could lessen the sting of Morgan, and I know most wanted to see him gone Collins. They need depth and he can play both the 1 and 2 and has a nice outside shot, as well as some get up.

LSU may be out of the Leron Black sweepstakes, considering the timing of Kirby's timing

Wow, nice video on Randy Onwuasor. Can hit the outside shot. Great leaper. Quick hands on defense. Ability to penetrate. Good court vision and passing skills. If Morgan and Collins are both gone, I'd love for LSU to sign this kid.

Wonder if we take any of these guys with only one spot open.

If we had lost Morgan, I would see more of a need for a three point sniper. But I kind of would just like to see the scholly roll over to next year.

Even though that sort of makes me a hypocrite for bitching about Trent Johnson never using his full allotment of scholarships.

That's one I'd have to leave up entirely to the coaching staff. Not sure how confident they are in some of the 2014 guards and they may feel the spot is better used in getting a guy in here now.

There's a difference though in in saving a scholly for what could be a great class next year and having a real shot with a lot of top prospects vs. saving 3-4 schollies because you simply couldn't fill them with anyone decent and just fill a couple of them the next cycle with no one decent anyways.

Just looking at stats, he averaged 13pts soph and 11 fr year. But he shoots a low percentage from the field and 3pt line. With a negative assist:TO ratio.

I thought he was a better player than that. I'd think we'd take Vinales over this guy, right?

He's was a much more highly recruited guy out of HS though(top 50/60 player).

Interesting. With Hickey being a senior and Quarterman being a sophomore that year he would come in you'd thinkg we wouldnt be looking at a JUCO guy there.

Kyle Vinales will remain at Central Connecticut. He had announced he was transferring but instead will return for junior year in 2013-14.
