and i don't understand why they are putting up all these precast concrete columns that don't match anything on the stadium. they just look goofy.

Seriously?! At this f*^&ing point you think they are just winging it? Or do you think maybe it will all come together when the entire project is finished?

They know what the hell they are doing!

The North End columns going up now, match the ones that were erected on the West side last year. The columns look OK, but those Domino's boxes on top of the columns look like shite.

You're correct though in that none of these new additions match the exterior architecture of the original bowl, but the West side didn't look as bad as I thought it would because it all kinds of blends together at night with all the lights on.
