Then he only counts $550k against the cap, so sportrac is off there. I'm looking at the CBA right now and his contract of 905k fits perfectly with the vet minimum benefit rule:

So $840k minimum + $65k allowed in additional bonuses = $905k total, exactly what they're saying he's paid. It's only $400k in cap space in the case of Roby, but I'm sure it's more than just Roby that they're counting more against the cap that he actually is accounting for. One interesting thing I noticed in the CBA and didn't notice before: 3rd and 4th year players aren't eligible for the vet min benefit, so a 3rd year min player counts a bit more against the cap than, say, a 15 year vet min player.
