Great move by Pete Carroll... My question though is after being exonerated , wouldn't have have all 4 years left of NCAA eligibility ... Why try and go from high school to jail to the NFL... Wouldn't you think someone would give him a scholarship , even a small school or D2 or D3 school and then he could have a better chance at the NFL after college

the reason why she is not going to jail is because "it will discourage other false accusers from coming forward and exonerating the innocent" pretty much they don't want to scare other girls who lie about being raped from doing the right thing eventually, which is kind of BS. She also blew all the settlement money (which came from the school which came from the taxpayers) so the state will not be able to get any of its money back. The girl apparently already has multiple kids on government support programs.
The bottom line of this whole situation is some girl lied about getting raped, got a lot of money, blew it and suffered no other consequences while some innocent kid spent 5 years in jail and got his chance at higher education and possibly a professional NFL career destroyed in the process.
ahhhh america

He plays for the Las Vegas Locomotives in the USFL so he's a pro now. His eligibility is now gone.
