Thoughts? I've read some pretty terrible reviews of the welds cracking.

Horrible. Welds crack. Floors suck; the rivets come out. Ride like a brick shithouse.
Would not buy.

I looked at some Tracker Grizzlys earlier this year while boat shopping. While I don't know anything about welds failing over time, I was not impressed with the build quality. For the mass produced boats the Lowe boats looked better and the custom welded boats were even better.

Look at the AllWeld boats made in Arkansas, they are well built & very good boat.

I have a 1654. Tiller. Have had it for 3 years. No issues . I fish a lot on the Missouri River which is known to be "dangerous" due to current. More so than the Mississippi up here. It's a steady hull. I do agree on the point about the ride, can be a bit rough. I have has no issues with the welds. its all welded so i dont have rivet issues. i am rough on it. I had a war eagle before this one and that was a good boat too.

As others have said, they are not well built boats. Mostly rivets. I had one over 15 years ago and I can't imagine they've improved quality with mass production thru bass pro's growth.
