You think shooting them means more won't show up?

Just saying, I get trying to protect the crop and all, but doesn't seem like the risk/reward ratio is worth it in this case.

I think the get the message when they see the others laying dead in the field...

I used to have bird problems too but i just fired a bunch of warning shots and asked them politely to leave...

It works. We get herons, egrets, cormorants and pelicans on our catfish ponds and kill the shite out of them. We'll burn through cases of shells but after killing a few hundred they will eventually pass over our ponds for somewhere else that is easier feeding.
