seriously, the NCAA went from the best location (New Orleans) to the worst in one year, there is nothing to do in Atlanta except get mugged and aggravated by homeless people.

New Orleans had hundreds of things to do including Bourbon Street, casinos, riverwalk, saltwater fishing charters within an hour, freshwater fishing and tours of the swamp, etc. I could go on and on

Atlanta has underground rap battles, cool

Last time i went to Atlanta I dressed up as a homeless bum just so people wouldn't ask me for free shite

So the same as New Orleans without the drinking?

it's not as good as NOLA or San Antonio. but there's a reason it keeps going back to atlanta. it's not a terrible spot.

Are you really arguing that New Orleans isn't a shite hole?

New Orleans = Murder Capital of the United States

Haters gonna hate.

Have you ever been to Buckhead? Midtown? Virginia-Highlands? Stone Mountain?

ETA: I've lived in both cities. New Orleans is more of a centralized adult party city that caters to tourist events. However, Nola is a dump compared to Atlanta... huge HUGE gap there; everything from infrastructure, schools, parks, economy, etc.

As unbiased as a post will be in this thread. The NCAA has many factors when deciding on a city. Bid price, infrastructure, hotel accommodations, facilities, and entertainment venues. Atlanta has all of these things. Many cities have all of these things. Some may be more unique/fun but in terms of what it takes to put a big time event together Atlanta has it. And this is from a big Nola homer.

Atlanta (except for the Braves) is a horrid place. It's like Jackson Ms on steroids.

Obviously not. He probably can't afford to travel outside of Underground. What a tool.

And New Orleans is like Savannah, but with crime.

yes, that is my point, for anything nice you have to leave the shithole known as Atlanta.

In NOLA you can do just about anything(other than the fishing i posted about) within the city limits and a 5 minutes taxi or street car ride

You keep showing how ignorant you are.

Buckhead, Midtown, and VA Highlands are all neighborhoods of Atlanta. They are in ATL city limits. they are ATLANTA.

no kidding. We literally had to pay people to watch our tailgate during the SECCG 2 years ago because the fricking bums wouldn't stop trying to steal beer

The problem with ATL isn't the stuff that the OP was trolling about.

Its just kind of spread out and culture-less. I find it to be pretty boring.

But ATL is not a bad city at all, I just wouldn't want to go to "events" their.

if it takes 30 minutes to get there i don't consider it in the city

NOLA you can walk to everything I posted above other than the fishing

NOLA 5
Atlanta 0
