also camo up good and hide good. they are smarter than you think "if you have never done it before" they will always circle down wind, they will be very cautious. and if you are using a call thats in your hand or lap stop it soon as you get a visual on the coyote because they will nail you fast and be out. and if doing it at night use a red lense on your light, you can kill them as easy in the afternoon or morning also

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm in Oxford, MS and live just outside of town. I will probably swing by and look at getting a couple footholds. The neighbors on the other side have two toddlers and are freaked out. Otherwise I will just head down and stake out a spot this afternoon/evening with a red lens and the Nylon 66 and smoke any eyes that come to the call.

This is best advice here if your gonna shoot em. They hunt at dusk and dawn in packs. They see hella good so its best if you can have one person shooting and one person calling. Hide in a bush if you can. They are sneaky little bastards. Had a pack kill one of my dogs out behind my house. They were all circled up around her and whichever one was behind her would shoot in and take a shot at her. I scared em off but they had punctured her lungs. I put her down. Kill em all!
