I wasn't sold on Chapman as a starter, either. It kind of had disaster written all over it. I don't watch much Reds baseball to form a great opinion, either. Paying anyone $7M a year to close is stupid. But the Reds at least have a pretty damn good bullpen situation.

What's their rotation like?

Wait, wait...didn't the GM say he wanted Chapman to close over being a starter? Didn't that asshat also make the decision to pay Broxton $7M a year to be a closer? WTF was he thinking?

Reds also have a very deep and good bullpen. Especially now with Chapman back at closer. I hope they keep Hoover.

No. Jocketty has always wanted him to start, which is why he paid Broxton that cash.

Dusty REALLY wants Chapman to close. And Chapman himself wants to close.
