Can't believe it took this long to watch this movie. Loved it, and I thought Natalie Portman almost took away from the movie. Reminded me a little of Silver Linings Playbook.

That too. 2004/2005 were some great years.

Cute little movie, but it defies logic and reason more than a zombie movie. If someone went cold turkey on a lifetime of brain meds they would either be dead or strapped down to a bed in a hospital going through some serious withdrawal.
They wouldn't be dancing around with Natalie Portman.
Lesson if this story, if you take that shite don't follow newbie's example for coming off.

Used to love this movie in college.
It has aged horribly for me.
Now Braff just comes off as a whiny bitch to me.
The scene where he tells the guy to enjoy exploring the infinite abyss is cringe worthy.

The time lapse couch/house party scene is what I think of when I think of that movie. It's hard for men to watch boys work so hard on perfecting their disaffection, I think. So the movie is going to rub some people wrong. I loved it. I thought it just worked for some reason.

Bingo.
Did not age well at all.
Edit: But I do have a soft spot for the film, I'll admit that.

I must be the only guy who feels this way the whole time, but probably because I think I am older then most on here. I love Braff on Scrubs, and was looking forward to this movie, but found it pretentious and boring as hell.
It must be a generational thing.
