That's how many regular season, mid-week games we've now won in a row. While most will say it's all games we should win, and absolutely we should, we see it every week some top team going down in the mid-week to "who?"

Mainieri seems to have his teams lately focused on not only the weekend but not dropping any of these RPI boppers in the mid-week. We lost 2 mid-week games in 2011 and since we were so close to making the tournament that year, could have been the difference

people would way overreact if we lost one of those mid week games. you arent throwing your best people, and sometimes the other teams are. we aren't throwing a Sunday starter on Wednesday, but there's a possibility the other team could.

And that guy that pitched for Northwestern tonight wasn't even in the weekend rotation of a shitty team. lol

He might be now.

We rarely see weekend starters during mid-week. Might happen once a season. I honestly dont know why most teams dont do it. Yeah it might mess up the rotation for a weekend but beating LSU >>>>>> beating bumblefrick southwestern state in terms of RPI/resume.

Most of these teams wont even make the NCAAT unless they win their conference tournament anyways so give your best a whack at one of the best teams you'll face all year knowing we wont throw but our #4 or #5 pitcher at you. Could be little extra something you want on your resume at the end of the season.

We better not lose that one or the one against USM the following week. I plan to go to both.
