A sailboat. Or prayers to stop the wind

It is cold, raining, with a 20 knot NE wind right now....So, it could be 85 and calm on Sunday.

It is supposed to blow like a bus load of figs this weekend.

Is this the new OB, where we can get chastised vehemently for such Comments?
Urban Dictionary: 1. An extremely annoying, inconsiderate person most commonly associated with Harley riders. 2. A person who owns or frequently rides a Harley.
British: a. A student at a British public school who is required to perform menial tasks for a student in a higher class. b. A drudge.
So, I looked it up....and well- I don't think that word means what you think it means....

I was more thinking that this would be a good weekend to service the motor in hopes that the following weekend is good.

Bring plenty of beer

From a dock with a beer in your hand.....in all likelihood you will be just pissing in the wind. Your best bet if you are set on fishing is the canals along LA 1, or some of the broken marsh for redfish.

What everybody else said.
It's March. Grand Isle is April at the earliest for fishing the surf for trout. Wait until the full moon in April, fish 2-3 days before or after the full moon. Then when you're really ready to start catching fish, do the same thing in May-August.

Dunno, but it's more of a this time of year spot than GI. Trout are starting to move to the outside, so if you find moving water in some bayou between Lafitte and GI, and fish around points/cuts, you can find them. But...
Sunday I did well in Reggio with that technique, but the weather was perfect for that. This weekend? I have no clue. I know they're predicting possible t-storms Friday, and mainly Saturday. Try to find a day with warm weather, light southerly winds, and partly cloudy skies, and fish in fishy spots. March sucks because the fish are in transition, and the weather is a roller coaster. But you can certainly hit em if you catch the right place at the right time.
