I meant...like what is your favorite restaurant and your favorite dish there.
I know NO is more creole, but I had something like Mike Anderson's in mind for fried food...
it has been a while since I have been able to get to NO..get home to BR, but not to NO.

In one of the greatest food cities in the world you want to recommend somewhere akin to Mike Anderson's? In that case tell him to go to New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co. They have shitty fried fish there.
