With the money of the drafts being greatly reduced, our other receivers could leave with decent seasons
You contradict yourself in the same sentence. If the money were NOT reduced, it would increase the likelihood of them leaving, right?

I think the staff is doing the right thing and locking up some players who fill certain needs and are LSU quality but not HUGE recruits according to services. ie. upchurch, a big possession wr; shorter, a speed, complementary back; and rhaheed, a speed rusher. we have plenty schollies available for the so called HUGE prospects.

I'll scratch that and say that they are breaking in a new QB next year and now is the time to leave with a decent enough season. I go back to Lafell on this one, he had 929 yds and 8 TDs his junior year which could have seen him as a first rder and a big contact, if he improved on that. He had 792 and 11 TDs his senior year which did nothing to raise his stock. What happened in those two years was a change in QB and it was n9t for the better for him.

well after the first round the money greatly dipped back then and now so my bad on that, but why risk being taking at 4-5 or not at all and fighting for practice squad.
