I can't remember us starting the spring with this much intensity. Coaches are in these guys faces and the players are working very hard. A few things though, I like seeing the QBs getting good work and some extra attention. Also another thing that I think is good is the DBs have side blinders on, it will help with looking straight at the man they are assigned in game without distraction. So glad Stud is working directly and only with O Line too.

Also very impressed with Mills, Sandolph, Hilliard (physical shape) and the D Line looks beastly. Very very excited of what we are seeing, it looks like we have a whole new attitude.

Hilliard (physical shape)

i noticed that as well. He looked like a bitch in big cat last year. He's definitely holding his own this year.

I just hope Jordan Allen is good and healthy to play. Guy has got the build to be a force in run protection.

I doubt that's what they're for. Probably to get them to look back for the ball in flight.

I'm still not sold on our DE's yet. As of now I say they are solid but not elite. Elite meaning: 3-4 guys deep that can rotate without noticing much drop off. We should be fine at DT but DE is still a concern. We still have 6 months to have them ready though

I'm sure it is intended for multiple purposes. But I agree with your input as well

How has JH33 and Anthony Jennings looked? And also is Alfred Blue back yet?

If we aren't great at DE but at least solid, I think we can live with that. I mean tell me exactly where we look "weak" at, because I really don't see it...

Hill was in a big cat drill and looks to be in last years form with the ball in hands, yes Blue has been practicing and Anthony Jennings has a really quick release throwing.

I DEFINITELY notice a difference watching this year's practices vs last year's.

The next spring that I don't hear this about the team will be the first.

And the every-year-since-God-was-a-boy trifecta is complete.

This. Which is why I'm glad we're playing TCU first up. I think the early cream puffs set a team up for an attitude that can linger into the SEC schedule. That's part of what I felt happened last season.

I don't care how often you tell 18-24 year olds that they need to give it all every game, they get lax if they can sleepwalk through the firs 3 or 4 games and still blow out teams.

I am excited and apprehensive about the upcoming season.

we need one, badly. bama has gutted us twice in a row and there were some tents folded early last year. we now have a fresh rotation being given the resposibility to get us back to prominence and it is now their time to put up or shut up. if our offense and Mett come fast out of the blocks we are going to be a load.

get better.

I'll say it will be an interesting season this year. If we lose to Bama I hope we don't quit the rest of the season. It seems like ever year we lose to them we play so-so the rest of the season. I still cannot believe we lost to Clemson. OH well
