Well the Spurs had Robinson to show Duncan the way. It could be something similar with Davis and Gasol.

yea but there are better/cheaper mentors that actually play center out there...Gasol is technically a PF a little to soft to be a C

Gasol is a very skilled player, but he has been called soft....He's not the guy I would want as Davis' mentor anyway.
In twelve seasons, Gasol has put up 10+ RPG three times...2+ BPG twice.
In fourteen seasons, Robinson put up 10+ RPG nine times...2+ BPG eleven times.
