He went to UNO to use a loophole to get eligible. The year they were transitioning to D-III, he was able to be an initial qualifier to D-III, which doesn't have the same regulations on core courses as D-I.
Then, after establishing good academic standing at an NCAA school, he transferred to FIU to play for Isiah. Then he transferred again to his current school.
Quite a ride, which never would have happened if the UNO thing didn't happen.
