Indeed. But that doesn't constitute getting "scewed" when you can find a couple of non-autobid teams with marginally worse RPIs (talking 88 and 89 compared to LSU's 86) than you.
Last year LSU got in at about a 90 RPI. Both years, LSU was in the territory where it could go either way. They were in 50/50 area both years and, guess what? They got it their way 50 percent of the time.
