It's entirely understandable for the national media to feel that way given our crappy offensive production the last few years, our disappointing season results, the huge number of impact players we lost. Even many local fans who wear purple and gold sunglasses realize our chances of competing for the BCS are in fact dimenished.

Now that the guys in Bern have apparently found the Higgs boson, Les can set that aside and concentrate purely on football.
Plainly, this has been a distraction for him.
