They were probably my favorite current band in the world when I was in college. Probably defined my college career, as me and all my close friends loved the shite out of the killers and listened to them nonstop.

Hot fuss, Sams Town, Sawdust, and Day and Age were all excellent. Admittedly, I haven't even listened to battle born. I guess maybe I just "outgrew" that phase or something, but I'll always still like them.

the singer kind of remind me of Bruce Springsteen ( singing wise) and I saw them live on TV and a few of their songs resemble a lot like Bruce's

Never been a huge fan. Their sound is very generic in my opinion. Nothing ever stood out as cutting edge for me.
I'm someone who grew up on Duran Duran, New Order, Depeche, Pet Shop Boys etc

I never was impressed with any of The Killers synth work. It all sounded like bland presets on a casio keyboard type synths with guitars.

Just my opinion.

Mr. Brightside is a timeless song. I'm pretty sure it's about group sex, and being very ucomfortable watching someone else bang your girlfriend. Or I could be wrong.

The Killers is a band that I have always loved but just never think about when picking what to listen to. I have all their albums except the last and love to jam out to them.

Glad to read that the majority of other people out there really appreciate them, as well. They seem to be one of the more quietly talked about popular bands around.
