Thomas is a pure blocking TE. He's not going to be a guy that's going to be a receiving threat like DeSean Smith. Hence the reason for my post. As blocking TEs as a position are absolutely retarded. With Cameron on board, hopefully he can teach Miles and Ensminger a thing or two on what an actual TE should be able to do.

Every "blocking TE" should just bulk up and become a OT and practice with the OL. Would make way more sense.

Has any team ever just put an OT in the TE spot unapologetically? Seems like the way to go with a mobile qb.

No, he isn't. Unless he somehow lost his hands when he tore his ACL.
