No need for this. I agree 100% that because this kid is Jordan's brother that many here don't want him, but this is not a race issue amongst the fan base. Many LSU fans are tired of the entire Jefferson family and the Les Miles love affair with them.

Disagree, hence all the "you can take the thug out of the ghetto" and the like comments. Some, not all, immediately damn this kid because he is black. They just veil the racism...
ETA: I personally hate the "racism card", but sometimes this site makes me sick to my stomach.

I'll say this and you can take it for what it's worth. Nearly EVERY LSU fan I ran across during the three years JJ played in front of JL who had something negative to say about him almost ALWAYS brought his race into play. This does not include the random SCREAMS of niger at Tiger stadium when he'd be on the field.
To say it doesn't play a part for some fans as a blanket statement is just as silly as saying it's the only issue. It's part of it...for sure. How much can be debated.
