I use isolunar religiously when planning a hunt. It tells the moon phases, major and minor times, as well as how active the game will be. The results are unreal.

Check out hookhunt.com they have hunting and fishing apps.

I have no idea if there is an app but I use NOAA graphical forecasts and can look at predicted temp, precip, wind, ect. hour by hour for very specific locations and have found it to be very accurate.
I also use sunrisesunset.com custom calendar and it will give to the min times for astronomical, nautical, and civil twilight.

I need a good GPS app that has Topo Maps available. I need to be able to download the maps since There is no cell service where i need to use it. Any suggestions?
I downloaded the free version from Trimble Outdoors (MyTopo.com) but the paid version is required to download maps. I will probably go with that one but wanted to see if others had any recommendations first.

I second iSolunar. Found it to be pretty accurate last deer season. Haven't tried it for fishing. I also have "The Journal" where you can make notes about individual hunts, and Winchester ballistics calculator.

I found that it's just a lot easier to use a handheld GPS in those situations. I'm partial to the Garmin Etrex series. Download free topos to it and go. My cell phone (iPhone) always does a poor job when I try to use it as a GPS.

I have an etrex legend. Its pretty accurate but doesn't have the level of topo detail I can get with mytopo

Check out this free topos at LINK / that members made and uploaded. Quality stuff you can load on the Garmin.

If you have android, root and download Blackmart alpha. I have gotten 10 pay programs for free off of there. They do some fancy computer hocus pokus to unlock the apps
