Being Human (American Version): one of the most underrated shows on TV?

I'd say yes. Every season has been excellent and this season (season 3) has been fantastic.
Zombies baby!
Why doesn't this show get love on here?

Have you seen the British version? I've seen a few episodes of the British version and one ep of the US version and thought the British was better. I may get around to this series at some point, so anyone who's seen more of both versions care to weigh in?

I've only seen the USA version but I'll say that it seems to get better each season. This season has been very good.

I watch it and also find it to be very good. Poor sally, can't seem to catch a break.

That's a great story line. Her and Aidan are definitely gonna bond through that.

I think it suffers from lack of promotion. I watched it and enjoyed it the first two seasons. This year I didn't even hear about the start of the season. When I did several episodes had gone by but I caught one episode. Hard to get back into it though.

Make an attempt. This season definitely has interesting story lines.

I like the show. And I agree about lack of promotion.
The storylines this season have all been pretty interesting and entertaining. I know it's tough for them to juggle all three unique storylines and give each character their due, but they seem to handle it pretty well. But with the wolf/vampire conflict always in the background, Sally always seems to be left out fighting her own shite alone.
They do a good job of finding hot chicks to put on the screen though.

True, as is usually the case, but with her current "condition" I can definitely see a MUCH larger problem developing for everyone.

Good show. How does the Brit version campare to the US as far as story? Is it basically the same story or are they completely different?

No idea. I'm waiting on a pretentious hipster to chime in and answer this question as well.

Wouldn't mind watching the Brit version but I don't want to frick up the US version by knowing what is going to happen

You're safe. They were practically clones for the first season, but the US version stopped following the British version in Season 2.
The British version is better FYI. Pretty much every season is better. I do like both though.

My wife watches this, and I've seen a few episodes here and there. The vampire actor kinda sucks. He overacts almost everything. And they almost always end the episode with some sad, melodramatic song with some sad, melodramatic montage of the main characters.
So yeah, it's not that great.

is this show really worth giving a shot? I avoided it like the plague because I saw vampire and werewolf and you can guess where my mind naturally went. might try to give it a chance

The British version falls apart after the 3rd season. The US version is having a great season and will soon hit the "good for longer" mark over its counterpart.
