Makes sense. I never saw Hackers but when he first came on LOST I was thinking, "hey that's the guy from Johnny 5" and yet now he will forever be George Minkowski

Is there going to be a MTV Board group rewatch and thread? Season by season? Maybe give 2 weeks to watch each season then discuss?
I'm about to finish season 5 on a rewatch. I kill 1-2 episodes a night when I'm busy and 3-5 on slow days. Love this damn show.

I'm right there with ya. I introduced my roomie to LOST and now they're hooked. We've got 3 episodes left in season 5 which should be knocked out soon.
They've taken the craziness of season 4 and 5 in stride pretty well, I hope they're still all in in season 6

Watched episodes 14-16 last night of season 1. I started to post something last night about it but decided to sleep on it. Here are some thoughts/questions.
Minor spoilers below.
1. Still getting tired of the Michael/Walt stuff. I understand why Michael is so protective of him now but geez let the kid learn his lesson which he may have with the polar bear.
2. What the hell is the hatch in the ground?
3. First thing I thought of with Boone and Shannon was why are none of the men trying to get close to Shannon, then Sayid came along. Second thought was "Dude you kissed your sister" - Joe Dirt
4. I'm 99% sure Jin speaks English and I think that may be explored in the next episode.
5. Why the hell are they not out looking for Rousseau to get answers?
6. What was the purpose of the compass not facing North? Is it just to add more eeriness to the island?
