When I rewatched the series with my ex a year or two ago, it got to be all I (we) ever wanted to do. For me, it's such an addicting show...as soon as an episode was finished, I couldn't wait to watch the next one. And I had already seen it before...my ex was more pumped than I was I think. Also, I knew what things were coming and I couldn't wait for her to see them or watch certain episodes. Rewatching it with her was definitely a cool experience for me.

11 episodes in I really like it and understand why it had such a huge following. Most of the characters are likable and I don't find myself hating anyone yet.

That's quite amazing, imho

I watched the active series and followed along on this and other fan boards throughout the series. It was the best combination of TV and fan interaction experience of my life. Enjoy.

Same here, it was an experience. Between watching the show, discussing with friends, discussing on here, and registering for 2 LOST forums, I couldn't get enough

I think that is what made LOST so amazing.

Watching the shows as they aired and the guessing week to week what was happening and what each thing meant. Those small details seemed so important, which is why people were pissed at the time when many of them didn't get answers. But watching the 2nd and 3rd time through, you realize how good the story as a whole actually was and how those small details didn't really matter after all. Easily the best show ever.

I got like that when I introduced her to 24. I knew the crazy things that were about to happen and most of the time caught myself watching her reaction.

Usually I can get 2-3 episodes in a night if that's all I watch. I watch one while doing cardio at the gym, one while my wife spends an hour in the bathroom and a third before bed if I can stay awake. I'm watching them on my iPad so location isn't an issue.

I know having threads devoted to seasons/episodes isn't feasible and is unrealistic for the board..but since this thread is already going along and you seem to be in it for long haul..I'd love for you to keep giving us updates as you go along. Any major thoughts or feelings you have at big points in the show, I'd really like to get your input as you experience them for the first time.

And a personal recap as you finish each season will be a must!

This could be dangerous. The risk of dehydration from sweating and crying at the same time is high.

That's what I was gonna say. Just bump this thread after you finish each season and let us know what you're thinking thus far.

Also let us know your thoughts on Through the Looking Glass and The Constant. The Constant is one of the best hours of television history IMO...just a great, great episode involving awesome characters that you'll meet eventually.

That's the two episodes that I was thinking of.

I still rewatch it every few months.

Might be my favorite episode of any show ever.

Great thing about those is they're like 6 episodes apart, so he won't have to wait long between them.

I would stay the heck out of any Lost thread until done. Even with spoiler alerts there are simply too many things people could say to ruin your experience.

This thread has been pretty good about being spoiler free, especially since that was added to the title.

I wouldn't do this. LOST is a show that needs your full attention.

Well yeah, but to my defense, unknown posted a spoiler with no warning, AT LEAST I gave plenty of warning with mine

Sounds good, I will do that. I will post spoilers up to what I have seen but will preface it with a warning in case others want to read through. When I start putting spoilers I will re-title the thread.

I'll aim to finish season 1 by mid next week if possible. I may stay up late Friday and Saturday watching a lot.

When I say "cardio" at the gym, I mean walking on an incline or riding a bike. When I run I do it outside.

Yeah. Same here. Fisher Stevens was kind of an underrated part of that episode. Brilliant, all around.
