Long term health? He has been cleared to return to games. This has nothing to do with his health, it is more of a psychological thing with Rosé now and he isn't going to magically get over it until he steps back on the court.

quote:everyone just assumes hes going to suit up and BOOM! 2011 MVP rose is there. it will take weeks to get into the swing of things. i cant imagine hes in great shape. hes not confident he can jump off that leg and dunk.

and there have been countless players who were cleared by the docs, only to reaggravate their injuries. esp when the player freely admits hes not fully confident in the knee. a player who thrives on his athleticism.
quote:give him the off season, put more time between the injury and full speed NBA action-- on that note, starting next year with training camp, preseason, november b-ball-- should be the perfect process of getting him back in swing of things. not throw him in the middle of playoff basketball hoping and praying he can bail out the season
he isn't going to magically get over it until he steps back on the court.
