I think Barry just suffers from pricing items reasonably. Dave says an piece of shite chair from Ikea is $200 then they put $200 onto his total profit.

3 legged table? $150
Clothes Goodwill would throw away? $250
A busted fridge? $300

Barry seem to be there for the comedic effect. He is not really in the business like everyone else. You never see anyone else just go ahead and give away there find. Like someone else said, he don't need the money, just a treasure hunter.

Is Dave still on the show? Last I heard he was suing the show.

I would bet Barry doesn't even pay for his lockers. Barry is the star of the show and doesn't need the junk inside them or the money. He and his brother are self-made millionaires. I think they owned a large grocery distribution company or something.
