Both tough. I don't think we can beat Fla anywhere, so they'd have to be upset earlier; but then the SEC opens up.
Re the NIT, physical level of competition might be easier, but aside from going on the road (a distinct possibility), there's also the issue that they may run into someone who wants it more. A mid-major with seniors maybe, who isn't disappointed at not being the NCAA.

I agree with most that the competition is potentially better in the SEC tournament but just look at road vs home records. LSU is 14-2 at home and only 4-8 on the road. It is tough to win on the road.
