He never played on a great Tiger team. I remember how excited we were when he joined the Saints WITH Hornung. Hornung couldn't pass a physical and Jimmy was running on fumes, so he never did anything. But his Saints uniform is in the HoF!

Apologies, my bad. I was trying to recall the years he played with the Tigers--I guess he wasn't there for any of the Billy Cannon seasons, perhaps came along a few years after that.
