Big 12 Announces Lineup of 2013 Weekday Football Games

The Big 12 has announced its lineup of non-traditional weekday football games for the 2013 season. The slate includes one Friday contest and four on Thursday per contractual agreements with Big 12 television partners. The remaining early picks for the first three weeks of the season will be announced in the summer.

is it any surprise that Texas gets a Thursday game after a bye week and the week before they play OU?

aside from NDS at KSU all of them are going to be more entertaining than the usual MACtion on ESPN.
TCU vs Tech was a fun shootout last year and Kingsbury will bring an up tempo air raid that should be an interesting counter to TCUs defense.
Iowa St is better than they get credit for with Paul Rhoads cleaning up Chiz's mess and I wouldn't be shocked to see them upset Texas.
OU/Baylor should be a fun shootout as well.
