Here is the vicious cycle...

government says the word "ban" -> people freak out -> people hoard ammo -> reloaders hoard reloading supplies

But the problem is that reloading supplies are stocked at a lower rate than loaded ammunition.

Couple that with the fact that all primer production is going to new ammo production right now, and the answer becomes even more obvious.

I love reloading and I strongly suggest it, but we won't see primers for about 6-9 months when the craze finally calms down.
