I'd rather my wife cheat on me but still love me. We are only human and have desires that sometimes some people can't contain. I think I can refrain from cheating and have always done so but as much as I love my wife, I don't truly know what goes on inside her head like she does. I guess it's possible for her to want to cheat but still love me at the same time.
If she just comes to me and says she doesn't love me anymore, that's just horrible. I'd imagine that would be a worse feeling than being cheated on.
Not saying I'd forgive her but given the choice between the two, that's the one I'd choose.

I think someone can cheat on their spouse and still love them. Cheating is (in some cases) a spur of the moment, heat of the moment kind of thing. Sexual fantasies and desires could potentially overpower someone for a few minutes while they still are in love with their spouse.
Again, not saying it's a forgiveable offense. I'm just saying I can see how it's possible.
