where do I get starter fluid and where do I spray it?

auto parts store, home depot, lowes, etc...

spray direct in the cylinder if you can get the plugs in fairly quickly or into the carb's air inlet

Are you getting Spark? pull a plug, leave the wires on, crank and see. dont touch the engine while doing this

If you are, next try the starting fluid, if that helps it start to crank, its the fuel, if not, next onto compression

while you are getting starting fluid, just get it at an Auto parts store, and rent a compression tool while there. attach and check compression

I have always thought the plug needed to be grounded to spark. I've held it on the block for as long as I can remember. Shocking
