seadoo jet ski won't start. new battery last year and freshly charged. put stabil in gas at end of season. stored in storage shed with cover. now can't get it to start. I am no mechanic and did not completely "winterize" it I guess. But what's my most likely issue here. starter just turns and turns but engine won't crank. seems like another $500 bill. any help appreciated. FYI, it's a 99 seadoo. 2 stroke and has been converted from oil injected to premix. ran great the last time I used it.

A little stater fluid might help it bust off... or take it in for a "tune up".

Spray starter fluid in it. Probably need a fresh can because sometimes you have to keep spraying until the motor warms up

You either have no fire or no fuel. I would bet its the plugs.

Oh yeah, did you out the little safety clip back in? Is there a shut-off on the handle that also needs to be pushed.
I didn't know about the Seadoo shut-off thing, and sat in Lake P for 4hrs once floating around

Hope you get it running. I used to fish in the spillway off of mine. The looks I used to get from bass fishermen were priceless.

I feel your pain.....Are you sure the battery's good? The first year I had my JetSki I didn't keep the brand new battery charged during the winter. It was dead by the next spring so that had to buy another one. Since then I keep charged all winter w/ a "Battery 'Tender." Very useful product that I highly recommend. If battery's good, try the starter fluid. Does your Seadoo have a priming pump? Last year the line carrying fuel to the priming pumb came off the pump. Until I figured out what had happened, I couldn't start JetSki and had fuel in the hull.

it's your starter bendix.
You probably have the 951 engine in yours and that was a common problem with them.

Jet Skis are horrible after sitting through the winter.
It does sound very spark plugish.
