I don't think they will stop for a while. People aren't content with a couple thousand rounds if they truly believe they won't be able to buy bullets next year

I know I'm not. I have 6k of .45 and I still buy a box everytime I see it somewhere. That's always what I've done though.

I don't understand you being shocked that some people think a couple thousand rounds isn't that much. Yeah, it's a lot if it's .270 ammo for your bolt action hunting rifle, but not if it's .223/5.56 for an AR(I believe I have exactly 4 boxes of .270). That's what some people shoot at ONE weekend class with some of the most popular instructors. My brother and I shot 400 rounds of 9mm alone last time we went to the range.
