Odds are stacked, wish he would have started his comeback earlier. But I wish him the best...man he can sling that ball. I loved to watch him in pregame sling it with so little effort. He throws a pretty ball. That deep ball against Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl and the throw against Arizone State were just freakin amazing...

Kind of interesting that all these QBs at one point or another struggled with their accuracy.
I kind of wonder if they were "meant" to throw with their other hand.

would love for the Niners to sign him and have Harbaugh take him under his wing. Can you imagine how ticked off the Raiders would be if we could make something out of him. Al Davis would turn over in his grave.
That being said, the 49ers would be a good franchise for Russell to spend some time with.
