IMHO.... (and to summarize what some have said)
I think we have some fat (that we are going to trim) and DBs have been pretty lack luster for years. (I can appreciate Harper a bit and Greer for Nickel coverage, Jenkins has talent...but as a whole, needs improvement IMO.)
I see this as a top target for the aforementioned reasons and we can take from SF. He is a great hitter and I like his ferocity. I hate seeing the DBs being so bland another year.

The defense doesn't need to be tweaked. The defense needs to be deconstructed and rebuilt from the ground up. Goldson is an attitude player. He hits like a LB and scares the hell out of WR's, TE's and RB's. Sign him. Cut Smith, Vilma and Harper for sure. Sick of people making excuses for these guys. Their days are done here and each is on the downside of their careers. I would be all over this guy. He is a playmaking difference maker.
