I disagree with this completely. You don't guess. You "read" what is happening....
To use a metaphor, as a hitter in baseball, are you guessing at the pitch??? Only at the pro level and with the very small percentage of them that throw 95 and above fastballs, and 83 changes, then you have to guess.
Otherwise at every other level, it is "reading" what is happening and reacting. Simple

IMHO.... (and to summarize what some have said)
I think we have some fat (that we are going to trim) and DBs have been pretty lack luster for years. (I can appreciate Harper a bit and Greer for Nickel coverage, Jenkins has talent...but as a whole, needs improvement IMO.)
I see this as a top target for the aforementioned reasons and we can take from SF. He is a great hitter and I like his ferocity. I hate seeing the DBs being so bland another year.

And my read on your statement is you are reading to deeply on my own statement. But yes, "read" is probably a better way to say that. Semantics Nazi.
